Chris was raised in Leicester and apart from a 6 year stint in Yorkshire he has found himself based in Manchester for most of his professional life (although now splits his time between the north west and beautiful Suffolk).

He originally trained as an actor at Bretton Hall. Since graduating in 2002 he has worked extensively in theatre (drama, Shakespeare, musicals, pantomimes, kids shows), television (soaps, dramas, commercials) and also as a presenter for live events (conferences, fashion shows, galas, trade shows, awards nights), for recorded media (e-Learning, training, product launches, commercials, virals) and also on live TV (The One Show – BBC). Due to his background he has always been very happy to try his hand at anything, clearly this works well for him as the vast majority of his work comes from repeat bookings!

Since he first voiced professionally in 2004 he has enjoyed expanding his repertoire of voices, accents and characters, and is happy to hone each one for his clients. Never afraid to throw himself into something new (variety is the spice of life, right?) his diverse range makes him the ideal go to – and go back to – male voice over.
